praisefm (formerly PraiseLive) Africa proudly celebrates its 5-year anniversary on March 8, 2026, marking a significant milestone in its mission to bring praise, prayer and the life-changing message of Jesus to listeners throughout Africa. Since first going on the air in multiple African countries on March 8, 2021, praisefm Africa has served as a vibrant voice of worship and hope across the continent.
praisefm Africa is part of praisefm’s global ministry dedicated to helping people discover and worship Jesus through uplifting music, inspiring testimonies and faith-filled broadcasting. With a vision to see every tribe and nation experiencing Jesus together, praisefm Africa partners with FM affiliate stations and a satellite network that blankets communities with praise and the Word of God.
The vision for a praise ministry to Africa began 25 years ago and today tens of thousands are “Worshiping Jesus Together” on 86 affiliated stations across 10 countries:Ghana, Togo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Guinea Bissau, Namibia, and Malalwi. Praisefm’s distinct praise format is hosted by Fredua, Charlotte and Jennifer, African radio presenters who know the dialect and the culture; collectively, they are enabled to minister effectively in one of the fastest growing regions of the world.
The ministry continues to host community-centered events, such as Vacation Bible Schools and media conferences, and collaborate with organizations like Theovision to meet practical and spiritual needs throughout the region.

Submissions for The Stellar Awards Gospel Radio of the Year consideration will be accepted March 2, 2026 – March 13, 2026 at www.stellarawards.com. Your station (Top, Medium, Small or Internet), Syndicated Gospel Radio Show, and/or Gospel Announcer must have been active and on-the-air between March 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026.
Rules and regulations have been updated, so please review prior to submission to make sure you qualify. The most significant change is the Gospel Radio Ballot will only be available during the SECOND ROUND OF VOTING from May 18, 2026 – June 1, 2026. This ballot will be open for public (fan) voting AND SAGMA member votes. The SAGMA member vote will be weighted at 5 points each and combined with the fan vote total to determine the final nominees and winner.
All entrants (i.e. Station Executive, Programmer and/or Manager) MUST BE current SAGMA members in order to submit.

Salem Podcast Network, a division of Salem Media, launched a new podcast, The Danielle Gill Show, debuting Monday, February 23. Hosted by conservative author Danielle Gill, the podcast will deliver insightful and timeless analysis of cultural issues, politics, news, and the social trends shaping our country today. New episodes will be released four times per week across the Salem Podcast Network.

Southern Gospel artists Jim & Melissa Brady’s bus experienced a blow out of one of the tires about midnight Thursday morning.
Jim said the tires had recently been replaced. The bus was rolling again by 5:45 Thursday morning. Jim said that while it wasn’t how they expected to spend their night, they were grateful for God’s protection. The latest from Jim & Melissa Brady is “Great God Of My Joy!”
