WNWC/Madison (Life 102.5) morning host Natalie Gross announced today she is exiting the station. She will be joining the morning show at mainstream country WNCY/Green Bay (Y100). Natalie joined WNWC in May 2024 joining then PD morning co-host Dave Conour who exited the station in July this year.
Natalie told HisAir, “This is a bittersweet decision. Even as I look forward to what’s next in my career, I am leaving behind some great colleagues at Life 102.5 and throughout the Northwestern Media network who I will miss dearly.”
WNWC PD Mikayla Browne told HisAir, “Natalie brought so much joy and authentic connection to the morning show. She is going to be deeply missed not only by the listeners but by the entire staff.”
Browne who replaced Conour as PD after rising from the APD position, will be moving from afternoons to host mornings starting 12/1.
Hope Media Group (HMG) is celebrating an outpouring of generosity from listeners after it’s Worship 24/7 stations held the 6th annual Hope to the Hungry event on Thursday, November 6. Partnering with six Rescue Missions and homeless shelters across the country, the one-day initiative raised $129,442, providing 38,006 Thanksgiving meals for individuals and families facing homelessness and food insecurity—a record for the event.
“We call our initiatives like this ‘Worship in Action’—and that is certainly what happened,” said David Harms, Founder of Worship 24/7. “This event meets a great need at a time of year when we’re focused on Thanksgiving, and it came as the government shutdown caused a record number of people to seek help to put food on the table. As a network, it’s sometimes challenging to be local, but this event allows us to shine a light on a national issue while giving our listeners a chance to make a difference right where they live.”
WKJA/Barberton, OH (Heartfelt Radio) Morning show host Mark Zimmerman will retire at the end of November. Mark has been with WKJA the last 6 years. From 1993-2015, he hosted mornings at Moody Radio WCRF/Cleveland.

HisAir hears WIZB/Dothan, AL afternoon show Russ & Nancy Brooks will exit the station soon. The pair will stay in the RTN family and join KWND & KWFC/Springfield, MO.
Russ and Nancy will host afternoons on Southern Gospel KWFC. In addition Nancy will be the new promotions director for both stations and Russ will be the audio/video director for both stations. More details are coming soon.
