Salem Media announced today the appointment of Richard von Gnechten and Jim Renacci to its Board of Directors, effective January 7, 2025. Messrs. von Gnechten and Renacci will stand for election to serve a full term on the Board of Directors at the 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

The Catholic Spirit Radio Network is seeking to hire an individual eager to play a behind-the-scenes role in its radio evangelization. This person works with the General Manager to develop, coordinate, and execute major events. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational skills and proven experience working with the public, fundraising, and event leadership. A full-time Major Event Manager is preferred with options for part-time and remote work.

Earlier this month Salem announced they would sell the company’s CCM radio stations (WFSH/Atlanta, WFHM/Cleveland, KBIQ/Colorado Springs, KLTY/Dallas, KFSH/Los Angeles, KFIS/Portland and KKFS/Sacramento). EMF will start operating the Stations pursuant to an Affiliation Agreement on or about February 1, 2025.

Spirit 105.7 Tulsa officially went on the air today at 3pm. Cox Media announced it was going to relaunch its Christian AC station as “Spirit 105.7” on Screen Door Broadcasting’s 105.7 K289CC Tulsa.
Spirit 102.3 KKCM was on the air from 2005 through 2009 then went to a simulcast of sister News/Talk 740 KRMG/Tulsa. Since then it has remained available on 95.5 KWEN-HD2 and a Cox Cable channel…
