KSBJ/Houston has promoted Shawn Farrington to Senior Director of Content for KSBJ and sister station KXNG/Houston (NGEN). Farrington joined KSBJ in Oct 2018 as the Director of Digital Content, overseeing digital content creation for KSBJ and NGEN. In his new and expanded role, Shawn will lead all areas of content creation and exposure across the organization.
Shawn replaces former Chief Content Officer Matt Hahn who joined Compassion International as the organization’s new USA Director of Radio Marketing in June this year.

WFSH/Atlanta (104.7 The Fish) air personality Beth Bacall says she had a dream come true thanks to Steven Curtis Chapman.
According to Beth, “He was visiting The Fish a few weeks back, sharing his new song. During a conversation I mentioned how the Grand Ole Opry’s legacy fills my heart so much, I sometimes cry about it, and should he ever have space for a backstage interview, to please keep me in mind. Steven immediately pulled out his iPhone and says “what are you doing in three weeks on a Tuesday night?” I was already scheduled to be in Nashville at this time, so Steven invited me to his Opry appearance for this interview. Somebody pinch me!! What gift!”
