WLJA/North Georgia (101.1 The Pulse) has hired veteran radio personality, musician and Christian songwriter Kenny Noble Cortes as its new Sunday morning host beginning Sunday, September 6. Cortes brings decades of broadcasting experience to The Pulse, having worked at radio stations in major markets including Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and Miami. In 2010, he joined the K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks, where he spent nearly seven years before stepping away from radio in 2016 to focus on music and songwriting.
“When someone of Kenny’s caliber and experience is living right here in your listening area, you’ve got to find a way to get him involved,” said Darien Southerland, Managing Partner of The Pulse. “We’re excited to add Kenny to the team and have him live on Sunday mornings as North Georgia heads to church. While other stations are making cuts, The Pulse team continues to get stronger.”
Cortes will be heard live Sunday mornings on 101.1 The Pulse, bringing his experience, personality and passion for faith and music to listeners across North Georgia.
