WAYJ/Fort Myers (WayFM) Station Manager Tom Sullivan who’s management role was expanded last April, to include the Alabama cluster of stations, is relocating to Huntsville next month. Tom will continue to oversee Fort Myers, Tallahassee and Panama City.

Regarding the new position, Tom told HisAir, “I’ve been blessed to work with great team members and awesome listeners in Florida. Now I get to begin working with the wonderful Alabama team and their faithful listeners as well in the cool, booming Huntsville area. I really am blessed BIG TIME!!!”

Tom joined WayFM in December 2013.

Relevant Radio has purchased Gospel station “Rejoice 990” WREJ/Richmond, VA (101.3 W267CB) for a sum of $500,000.

Beth Mann’s Ham Broadcasting Company has acquired Southern Gospel station “Heavenly 1070” WEKT/Elkton, KY from M&R Broadcasting for $70,500. The acquisition will be accompanied by a Time Brokerage Agreement starting on July 1. The buyer already owns four other stations in Kentucky.

Gospel Light Ministries will be acquiring Christian stations “The Life FM” 91.3 WWDL/Plainfield and 91.3 WWQI/Morristown, IN from the Power Foundation for $150,000.

Bethany Church of Lincoln County has sold the Construction Permit (CP) for 91.3 KHBN/Beloit, KS to American Christian Radio Inc. for $1.

KSBJ/Houston has partnered with God’s Pit Crew for a fun and exciting way to bring the surrounding community together in servitude and fellowship. Their volunteering efforts will help deliver hope to many people in crisis the next time disaster strikes and Blessing Buckets are delivered.

“The work that God’s Pit Crew is able to accomplish would not be possible if it weren’t for our amazing volunteers and donors,” said Randy Johnson, president of God’s Pit Crew. “We are so thankful for the people that go above and beyond to help us fulfill our mission of providing hope and restoration back into the lives of disaster victims.”

Blessing Buckets are five-gallon buckets filled with essential supplies such as food, water, hygiene products and more. Each Blessing Bucket also includes a Bible, a Joyce Meyer Ministries devotional, and notes of encouragement for the receiver. Once in the hands of people experiencing a time of crisis, Blessing Buckets help to enrich their lives and become a small token of God’s love.
