K-LOVE is purchasing its first station on Cap Cod with the acquisition of WFCC/Chatham, MA 107.5). Cape Cod Broadcasting is the seller at a price reportedly of 362K pending FCC approval.

The network also owns a Class A WTKL/New Bedford, MA (91.1).

WJQK/Grand Rapids (JOY99) is celebrating an incredible outpouring of generosity after listeners came together to support children in the red-light districts of Mumbai, India—raising over $46,000, far exceeding the original goal of $37,000. The campaign, in partnership with mission:activate, was designed to provide safety, rescue, and ongoing care for vulnerable children—many of whom face exploitation at an alarmingly young age. Through the support of JOY99 listeners, 5,175 days of safety and protection will now be provided.

“We asked our listeners to bring the JOY—and they did in a powerful way,” said Tommy Dylan, JOY99 Program Director. “This wasn’t just about meeting a goal. It was about stepping into someone else’s story and making a real, life-changing difference.” Throughout the campaign, JOY99 invited listeners to give in a simple, tangible way—by providing a “day of safety” and then choosing how many days they wanted to give. The response was immediate and heartfelt, with individuals and families across West Michigan stepping up to join the mission.”

REAL Southern Gospel Radio owner, Les Butler will be inducted into the Tri-State Gospel Music Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug 1, 2026. Tri-State Gospel Music Hall of Fame recognizes, honors, and celebrates gospel music musicians who have made outstanding contributions to gospel music in the Tri-State Area – Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Butler states, “I can’t believe I started in Southern Gospel Radio 50 years ago. I have been blessed to interview nearly every SGMA Hall of Fame member. I’ve spoken with and interviewed President George W. Bush, Attorney General John Ashcroft, Harlem Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon, Yankees pitcher Andy Pettite, the cast of The Waltons, and many more. I’ve hung out with Bill Gaither in his home, ate banana pudding made for me by Vestal Goodman, and toured with countless artists and stayed in their homes. It’s been beyond remarkable.”

The Christian Music Conference in Sydney this past March brought together artists, broadcasters, creatives, and industry leaders from across Australia for a day focused on connection, creativity, and collaboration. WBHY/Mobile (Power 88) welcomes Kris Graves as their new morning host.

Kris says, “After spending 30 years in the radio broadcasting industry I felt God was telling me to take a break and recharge. So for 7 years I ended up working even harder in the landscape industry but God gave me the rest I needed and allowed me opportunities to minister to others in many ways. As an answer to prayer, I am now able to resume working on-air at this awesome radio station and serve God at the same time. I look forward to presenting Today’s Christian Music over the airwaves of Power 88 and sharing a little bit of how God has blessed me.”

Tyler, TX based Encouragement Media Group (EMG) announces the hiring of Adam Winkler as Programming Specialist.

Winkler comes to EMG after serving at Christian radio station KNEO/Neosho, MO for nearly 19 years.  There he served as Director of Operations.
