Moody Radio National Operations Manager Jonathan (JC) Obien is joining the Senior Leadership team at KHCB/Houston. 

Obien’s has been with Moody Radio since 2019 based at Moody Radio Headquarters in Chicago and responsible for National Operations. Previously he was with EMF Broadcasting in the Studio Technology Department and also served as Studio Operations Manager for K-LOVE and Air1. 

The official word on his role at KHCB will be announced soon.

Paul Goldsmith announced he will leave his role as Chief Business Officer at Vidare Creative at the end of this month. 

Paul says, “I’m actively exploring senior leadership opportunities in business development, media, health/wellness, or marketing, where I can bring my background in those areas to a company and mission I believe in.”

In Thurday’s HisAir newsletter we in mistakenly listed an opening at BOOST Radio/St Louis. That opening is not current.

WGTS/Wash DC evening personality Suzanne Lynn had the unique opportunity to fundraise on the air with her son Joe last week at WCVO/Columbus (The River).

Suzanne told HisAir, “It was so special and truly a full circle moment. While there are some husband and wife teams in Christian radio, I think it’s fun having a parent/child aspect.”

Son Joe Cheeseman is midday host at WCVO.

Tallahassee based Faith Radio is selling two AM / FM translator combinations covering Panama City and much of Bay County, FL. Both are available for immediate purchase. The stations are currently on the air, have excellent equipment, and are well-maintained. Both of these stations have excellent coverage. Asking price is $180,000 for each combo or $325,000 for both. Doug Johnson announced this week he will step into retirement from Kinship Radio/Mankato, MN

Dan Casteline announces his impending retirement. March 22 will be his last on-air shifts at WGRC/Lewisburg.

In Aug 2019 Don stepped away from his full time position at WGRC and remained with the station in a PT capacity. He first joined WGRC in March 1998 as an afternoon news anchor.

Steve Wright has passed. Steve spent many years with Family Life Radio in Michigan and then Tucson as Regional Promotions Coordinator.

TWR’s Member Care Media ministry won recognition (pictured at left) during the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville.
On Feb. 26, 2016, the NRB International Strategic Partnerships Award for 2016 was presented to a representative of MCM, which ministers to cross-cultural workers with content tailored to their needs and circumstances. MCM is based in TWR’s Europe Region.
