WCVO/Columbus (104.9 the River) wrapped up their Spring Sharathon on Friday morning, surpassing their overall goal before the end of the River Morning Show. The River once again teamed up with Vidare Creative for a successful campaign, including the largest Kickstart total (pre-event giving) in station history.

President and CEO, Bill Montgomery, says, “We are so thankful for our listeners selfless generosity! But truly more impactful were stories shared of how God is daily using the River and our CCM artists to comfort the hurting, give hope to the hopeless and encourage their walk with Jesus.”

In addition to station funding, River listeners helped provide addiction recovery resources to the community through a Sharathon partnership with The Refuge, which operates with the goal “to change the lives of men affected by addiction, through Christ.”

The River operates four stations in Central Ohio, including 104.9 Columbus, 89.3 Newark, 90.9 Lancaster and 89.3 Chillicothe.

Curb | Word Entertainment band Big Daddy Weave leads their forthcoming album with hope-affirming anthem “Heaven Changes Everything,” unveiled today (3/10).

“Heaven Changes Everything” follows Big Daddy Weave’s chart-topping collaboration with rising star Katy Nichole, “God Is In This Story,” which held the No. 1 spot for three weeks. The fresh track was written by Big Daddy Weave front man Mike Weaver, with Matthew West and Jeff Pardo, while Big Daddy Weave’s Jeremy Redmon produced the track in collaboration with Pardo.

“Worship Today with Don Moen” has been released and features Don’s interpretations of some of the most popular praise and worship songs, including “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord),” “What A Beautiful Name,” “In Christ Alone,” “How Great Is Our God,” and many more.

Reflecting on the project, Don shared, “During my time at Integrity Music, a big part of my job was to pick great songs. Over the years, I learned that simple melodies and lyrics with a Gospel message can transcend generations, denominations, and cultures. These songs resonate with the listener and eventually reach the church all over the world. Worship Today with Don Moen features songs that have become modern anthems in our churches along with a new generation of songs that I believe will be sung for years to come.”
