Former WFHM/Cleveland (95.5 The Fish) morning hosts Len (Houser) & Sara (Carnes) haven’t missed a beat since exiting the Salem station at the end of January. The pair are kicking off a new podcast “Start Your Day Positive” with the first episode dropping Wed Feb 12th at 6AM. Centricity artist Lauren Daigle is set to perform “America the Beautiful” alongside jazz musician Trombone Shorty at the Super Bowl pregame show in the Caesars Superdome. The Louisiana native sees this as “vindication” following her controversial removal from New Year’s Rockin’ Eve five years ago.
In 2020, Daigle faced backlash from New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell for participating in an outdoor worship event led by activist Sean Feucht, which violated public health guidelines. Now, her high-profile Super Bowl performance marks a major career moment and a return to national prominence.
“To get this moment years later, I would say for anybody watching that has had their reputations smeared in any sort of way and they are just waiting for the moment of vindication, sometimes it only takes five years,” Daigle stated.
The National Association of Gospel Radio (NAGR) has announced its 2nd annual National Radio Convention, scheduled to be held in Cincinnati from May 1-3, 2025.
The National Radio Convention is a significant gathering for industry professionals, offering a platform for networking, education, and the celebration of Gospel radio. The decision to reschedule was made with careful consideration, ensuring that the event will continue to provide the valuable experience that attendees have come to expect.

HisAir INDUSTRY NEWS FLASHBACK – On This Day FEB 7, 2018
KCMS/Seattle (Spirit 105.3) has hired KSBJ/Houston PD Ty McFarland for Program Director duties. Ty replaces Matt Stockman who exited the KCMS PD chair last November to join EMF as KLOVE PD.
McFarland arrives at Spirir 105.3 with over 22 years of experience in the Contemporary Christian Music format, and had this to say, “I’m excited to be returning to the Pacific Northwest, am very optimistic for the future and looking forward to getting started with the CRISTA Media team.”

Salem Media Group announced today that WFSH/Atlanta (104.7 The Fish) Program Director Mike Blakemore has been appointed to the new position of VP Programming, CCM Format effective February 12, 2018. In addition to his duties in Atlanta, this expanded role will allow Blakemore to provide leadership, and leverage the resources of the company’s Contemporary Christian Music stations.
