In St Louis Gateway Creative Broadcasting is now operating it’s new &8.75 mil acquisition KLJT (formerly KDHX) 88.1. The new call letters, KLJT, are similar to Gateway’s sister station KLJY/St Louis (99.1 JOY FM)… Currently KLJT is simulcasting Rhythmic Hot AC “95.5 Jams” from it’s own KXBS-HD2.
The Museum of Christian and Gospel Music opened its doors for the first time today 10/3. The museum and the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame opened Friday morning at 402 Commerce Street in downtown Nashville.

Step into a world of sound, story, and spirit, where every note carries the warmth of tradition and every exhibit brings you closer to the artists, moments, and movements that shaped the gospel genre.
The new attraction features interactive exhibits and a permanent hall of fame with more than 200 icons. They also plan to host live performances there in the future.

GRAMMY-winning worship leader and songwriter Matt Redman, after releasing 20 albums, has debuted his first live-studio album, Life & Breath. The album aims to combine deep theological themes with accessible, joyful worship in an intimate live studio setting.
“In the past, I’ve made live records with a congregation and studio albums, but for this project, I wanted to try something different—a ‘live studio’ record. Recording at Gold Pacific Studios in Nashville allowed us to achieve the precision of a studio while still capturing the energy and breath of a live worship setting,” Redman said in a statement.
KLOVE is sporting a newly designed website. The new site features mainly artists and music, podcasts and podcast speakers, and articles on faith etc. While K-LOVE radio is present, it’s not front and center as it has been in the past. HisAir reached out to EMF for comment but has not received a response.

Relevant Radio will purchase WLAT/New Britain, CT(910) for $400,000 from Gois Broadcasting. Also included is translator W269DE at 101.7 FM.
Educational Media Foundation closed on it purchase of WPBB/Tampa Bay for $8 million from Beasley Media Group.
Radio Training Network closed on it’s $4.25 million deal to acquire WWRZ/Fort Meade, Fl (98.3) from Hall Communications. RTN operates The JOY FM WFLJ/Frostproof, FL (89.3) serving the Lakeland market.
Hope Media Group closed a $651,181 purchase of KTDD/Eatonville, WA (104.9) from Worship 24/7. HMG also closed another deal with Worship 24/7 to buy KURT/Pineville, OR (93.7)
Also closing this week, Worship 24/7 donates two full-power and four FM translators from Hope Media Group including KYOZ/Spokane (1330), WJEP/Columbus, GA (91.1), Spokane translator K239CL at 95.7 FM; the Le Mars, IA-licensed K206ED at 89.1 FM; the Sioux City, IA-licensed K240DE at 95.9 FM; and the Ottumwa, IA-licensed K218EA at 91.5 FM. In the deal HMG agrees to pay the outstanding balance of all promissory notes held by Worship 24/7.

Family Stations, Inc is buying WFFI/Kingston Springs, TN (93.7 Nashville) from EMF for $2.1 mil. EMF acquired WFFI earlier this year in a deal with Salem involving four Salem signals spread in Nashville and Honolulu for $7 million. The new signal for Family Radio is the broadcaster’s first in Tennessee and Nashville. Family Radio Network headquarters are located in Franklin, TN. On Tuesday, October 15 WFFI call letters will change to WFRW and an affiliation agreement will go into effect with the airing of Family Radio programming. The deal with EMF also includes WFFI’s tower property.
