Last week HURRICANE LAURA hit the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast. Laura was the tenth-strongest U.S. hurricane landfall by windspeed on record and caused the deaths of at least 29 people in the U.S. and inflicted an estimated $8.7 billion in insured damage.

After one week numerous Christian Radio stations remain off the air. Those include:

KEZP/Alexandria (104.3 The Bridge) EMF stations KRLR/Sulphur, LA (89.1), KLNQ/Atlanta, LA (106.5), KLXA/Alexandria (89.9), and KLXE/Calhoun, LA (93.5).

Centricity Music artist LAUREN DAIGLE’S “You Say” has set a record by becoming the first song to spend 100 weeks at number one on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart. Daigle released “You Say” back in July 2018.

Centricity Music Senior Director of Song Promotion Kris Love told HisAir today, “We are so grateful to Christian Radio for the incredible part it had in the story of this once-in-a-generation song. 100 Weeks at #1 represents the incredible amount of lives that have been impacted by this song. It’s humbling for everyone on our team to get to be part of such a special song from such a genuine, talented and kind artist.”

In a recent Facebook post, Daigle says, “To be a part of a song that has not only made history but has lived inside the homes of families raising babies, widows needing comfort, teenagers needing a friend, those who have lost and those who have gained, that is a gift I’ll never fully put into words.”
