The economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has hit Oklahoma worse than any state in the US in 2020. As a result, KJTH/Ponca City (The House FM) found themselves at a 10-year low in listener funding.

July 13-14 the station asked their listeners to help make up the shortfall, and the listeners responded with overwhelming support. House FM CEO Tony Weir said, “With many of our donors hitting pause on monthly donations, we felt we needed to ask listeners to “stand in the gap” for families that were unable to give at this time.  We set a goal of about what we were behind year-to-date from 2019 donations.  We more than doubled that goal (221%) and saw a number of large gifts and a real outpouring from our communities to keep the ministry going strong.  Vidare helped us from the early planning, to the messaging ramping up to the event, and a fantastic one day plus a morning on-air fundraiser that never saw a lull in phones and on-line gifts.”

Vidare Creative is thrilled to work with amazing ministries like The House FM, helping them advance their mission. If you’d like to talk, just email paul@vidarecreative.com
