WBGL/Champaign wrapped up its most successful fundraiser in its 38 year history today. WBGL PD Ryan Springer says, “Our listeners generously gave to allow us to hit 100% of the highest dollar goal we’ve ever had! (We’ve actually had the exact same dollar goal several times before, but have never hit 100% of it during the on-air portion of the fundraiser). Absolutely INCREDIBLE.”
Despite the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Positive Life Radio/Walla Walla, WA held their Spring Pledge Drive in early May. The majority of the PLR air team joined Vidare Creative hosts/coaches Bill Scott and Dave Kirby remotely from their individual home studios, and the response was truly remarkable.
“Our Spring Pledge Drive was above and beyond our expectations,” said General Manager Chris Gilbreth. “Nearly twice as many people gave as last spring, and by the end of the week we went over a goal that was higher than the last few years, at a time when people have every reason NOT to give. God is good and faithful!”
“A 40% increase over last spring is a huge victory during this unprecedented time,” Vidare Creative Chief Client Officer Bill Scott added. “With the challenges of connecting multiple hosts from multiple studios AND fundraising during a global pandemic, we couldn’t be more pleased. Congratulations to Positive Life Radio for this incredible result!”
