A magnitude 6.5 earthquake rattled Idaho on Tuesday and was felt across the region as far as Washington state, Utah, Nevada and Canada. The epicenter of of the earthquake was located approximately 78 miles northeast of Boise and struck at 5:52 p.m. local time. Thankfully there wasn’t an impact on the Barefoot Media stations and the quake didn’t do any structural damage in the Boise area.
KTSY/Boise President GM Brian Yeager told HisAir, “I was on a Zoom coaching call with some of the Project 88.7 air talent when it hit. It created a few minutes of excitement, but no real impact. It’s just another reminder that we serve people who are afraid and concerned about what is going to happen next. As much as believers try, we don’t have simple answers. It’s just another reminder that we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Crista Media’s KWPZ/Seattle (PRAISE 106.5) is moving SmartRadio Suite’s “The Brant Hansen Show” from evenings 6-9p to afternoons 2-6p starting April 6. Announcing the move, Praise 106.5 Program Director Ty McFarland said, “Brant and Sherri fit the way people think in lower mainland BC and the Pacific Northwest so well. And 86% of our listeners to PRAISE 106.5 listen in the Vancouver, BC market. So I’m thrilled that a show that is designed for growth, and designed to reach people with the gospel, (especially right now), will be on the air here in drive time.”
Ambassador has launched the new COVID-19 crisis Tool Kit to “house” all the audio, video, social media graphics and on-line resources that are available. Ambassador Social Media Manager Lee Ann Jackson says, “As we gathered in staff devotions this morning via Zoom conferencing, we spent a great deal of time in His Word and as the resources in the kit do just that, point to God and the Word, we trust many will find the Tool Kit helpful in their respective ministry outreach.”
There’s a wealth of resources from many prominent ministries and speakers in the Tool Kit. Check it out HERE.
