ABC TV was live last night from Nicaragua for Nik Wallenda’s dangerous high wire walk over an active volcano. While there wasn’t a whole lot of play-by-play, Wallenda filled the dead space by singing Bethel Music’s “No Longer Slaves,” and thanking Jesus repeatedly.
As Nik began literally walking above the volcano, he sang Hillsong United’s “Another In The Fire,” followed by Bethel Music’s “Raise a Hallelujah.”
Wallenda, who faced wind, heat and gas challenges was successful in his attempt to become the only person to cross above the volcano; and gave a mini-sermon on fear as he approached the last quarter of the walk, encouraging anybody with dreams to walk them out and don’t let fear or doubt get in the way.
