Moody Radio announced that Summit Life with J.D. Greear will debut on Monday, April 3, as a national program on their owned and operated stations, and select affiliates across the country. After being heard in central North Carolina for the last few years, the 30-minute weekday Bible teaching program of J.D. Greear based in Raleigh-Durham will now be a national program. Moody Radio is the first network to carry the program nationally.
“Being the first network to carry Summit Life with J.D. Greear as a national program is an honor,” said Dan Craig, manager of programming for Moody Radio. “J.D. is a passionate, articulate and biblically-solid voice for the next generation. This program will play a key role in our mission to help listeners take the next step in their journey with Jesus.”
Bridge of Hope Inc. (owners of WKNZ/Harrington 88.7 the Bridge) is purchasing its second FM on the Delmarva Peninsula. The group will acquire WICO/Pocomoke City, MD for 250k.
EMF is picking up KXOR/Thibodaux, a Class C3 for 525k. Thibodeau is located about 50 miles SW of New Orleans. In addition WORG/Orangburg, SC (100.3 FM) is being sold by Garris Communications Inc. Educational Media Foundation. WORG will live on in an online format at www.worgonline.com. The site will be maintained by WORG Operations Manager Meredith Garris.
Congratulations to consultant John Frost on the birth of his first grandchild. Fisher Beeson was born on March 24 to daughter Tracy Frost Beeson and son-in-law Aaron.
