Southern Gospel station WFLI/Chattanooga says it will sign off the air for good at the end of this month. The station posted this on its Facebook page “After more than 56 years of broadcasting, WFLI 1070 AM radio will go off the air on March 31, 2017. We sincerely appreciate our listeners, employees and clients for their support.” 


On March 26th, 2017, Dr. James Dobson will mark 40 years in broadcasting. Dr. Dobson decided to resign from academia and open a humble, two-room office in Arcadia, California, where he began a radio program on 34 Christian stations. It began on March 26tht,1977. His program was eventually carried on 7,000 stations in 150 countries, and was heard by 220 million people a day.  After 30 years Dobson left Focus on the Family and launched “Family Talk,” which is carried on 1,300 outlets Monday through Friday each week.
