In a news release today KCMS/KCIS/Seattle GM Ann Marie Mulholland, commented on the hiring of KSBJ/Houston PD Ty McFarland as new PD, “Ty’s extensive experience and success in the CCM format will help elevate our stations to new heights. We are thrilled to have him join the CRISTA Media team and fulfill the mission of Spreading God’s Love through Media!” McFarland replaces Matt Stockman who exited the KCMS PD chair last November to join EMF as KLOVE PD. Ty will start his new position next month.
WAWZ/New York (Star 99.1) evening personality Sharon Davis announces she is retiring and will be leaving the station.
The GMA (Gospel Music Association) Foundation announced its inductees and honorees for the 5th Annual GMA Honors and Hall of Fame Ceremony set for Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. This year’s GMA Hall of Fame inductees include CCM artist Carman, award-winning Southern Gospel artist Karen Peck Gooch, legendary Gospel family group The Staples Singers and acclaimed producer Greg Nelson.
