KEEH/Spokane (Shine 104.9) is celebrating a #1 market position for two consecutive months. Station manager Darin Patzer said, “As manager and staff of Shine 104.9 we have worked hard to be a relevant, local presence in our community for the past 25 years. When we partnered with Christian FM they provided the programming and production expertise [via the SmartRadio Suite] which have worked hand-in-glove with our localization efforts and community focus, to push this radio station to these new heights. All to the glory of Jesus.”

Tomorrow at 5:30am new Christian station WKJA/Barberton, OH (Heartfelt Radio) will go on the air. WKJA (91.9-FM) is owned by Christian Healthcare Ministries, a voluntary cost-sharing ministry. CHM purchased the radio station in late 2018 and after a year of construction is ready to launch the 24,000 watts station. The WKJA format is to provide an eclectic mix of Christian music and programming, including some children’s programming. Longtime Northeast Ohio radio broadcaster Mark Zimmerman will host mornings with interviews of local Christian leaders as well as internationally-known Christian speakers and musicians.

Vidare Creative welcomes Positive Life Radio in Walla Walla, WA to their growing list of clients. Vidare will provide training, hosting, and coaching services for their on-air fundraisers. In addition, Vidare will work with the station to implement their “Fundraising 365” strategy, helping connect programming and fundraising to help PLR better tell their story to their listeners throughout the year.

New GM Chris Gilbreath says, ““The timing couldn’t have been better. Just as I joined Positive Life Radio as General Manager, the opportunity came to work with my fundraising dream team of Bill, Dave and Paul. They bring a wealth of wisdom and experience to the table at a time when we’re looking to reach new heights of fundraising excellence. So long as I remember to log off my personal Facebook account when they’re in the building, what could go wrong?!?”

Former KSBJ/Houston Chief Financial Officer LaRanda Burke has exited the station after 14 years. LaRanda has joined Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom, LLP as Director Financial Planning & Analytics.
