Industry News Bits 12-4-17

Penny Galloway has joined WCIF/Mebourne, FL as Operation Manager. Her first day is today 12/4/17. Penny is a voice talent previously with WAY FM West Palm Beach. Penny tells HisAir.Net, “I’m super excited to be with 106.3 WCIF”. Penny replaces Martha Root who moved up to WCIF GM.

Black River Christian has hired Ali Matkosky Director of National Promotion & Strategy reporting to Brian Thiele, Vice President of National Promotion. Previously Ali was Director of National Promotion at Word Entertainment and Provident Label Group. 

“I had the privilege of working with Ali for four years before I came to Black River, and I can honestly say that she is one of the best Promotion people in this industry,” says Thiele. “We are excited for her to bring her expertise, personality, and passion to Black River Christian!”

WBVM/Tampa (Spirit FM) air talents Davis Watts and Abby Brundage were married Dec 2nd. Davis is also Music Director and Host of The More Music Mid-Days and Abby is Promotions Director and Host of The Big, Big House Morning Show.
