HisAir hears Shine.FM Network PD Don Burns is exiting. Don’s future plans will be announced soon. Shine.FM GM Brian McIntyre has started a search for a new network PD. If interested check the listing on the HisAir JOBS page.


Texas Country Music Association President and Founder, Linda Wilson and husband Executive Vice President Richard Wilson have launched Christian Country Music, Inc. to help promote and support the Christian Country music industry. CCM, Inc.’s will work to assist, promote and support the industry and its artists by creating programs, opportunities, marketing and promotion of its members and the Christian Country Music industry as a whole. Some styles include not only the traditional sound of Christian Country but what some may call Country Gospel, as well as Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, Blues, and even some newer styles such as Outlaw Country Gospel and musical styles along the lines of Texas Country and Red Dirt Country with “Christian faith-based messages.”

Mountain Gospel Radio in Eastern Kentucky has launched new music and programming on WMTC/Vancleve (99.9) and WBFC/Stanton (1470 AM). More programs for local listeners about current issues from a Christian perspective. Mountain Gospel has served Eastern Kentucky for over 70 years.

    Northwestern Media no longer lists Peoria as being open….is that Don’s destination?
