Integrity Music celebrates three GMA Dove Award wins last week during the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards that were broadcasted on the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) on October 30th. 

Originating from Lagos, Nigeria, the powerful anthem “Way Maker” was awarded the coveted Dove Award for “Song of the Year.” In addition the song’s songwriter Sinach joined Leeland and Mandisa for an inspirational performance of “Way Maker” for the broadcast of the awards. This marks the first time in history that a song from Africa has claimed this honored spot.
Selah was presented with two Dove Awards during the awards pre-show last week. The group won “Inspirational Album of the Year” for their 2019 album, Firm Foundation and for “Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year” for their song, “Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me,” which was written by Michael Farren and Australia’s CityAlight writers Rich Thompson and Jonny Robinson. 

The Provident Entertainment family of artists, labels, songwriters, publishers, and filmmakers received 26 Dove Awards from the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards. Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Kierra Sheard, Jason Ingram, Jonathan Smith, Tauren Wells, Zach Williams, and Chris Brown and Steven Furtick of Elevation Worship each received two Doves. Below is a complete list of all the Provident Entertainment winners.  

Provident Entertainment went into the awards show with an astounding 68 nominations. Producer and songwriter Jason Ingram received the most nominations with eight, songwriter/producer Jonathan Smith received seven, Zach Williams with five, Kirk Franklin, Matthew West, and Elevation Worship each received four nominations, while Kierra Sheard, Travis Greene, and Tauren Wells each received three.

Milestones:
Tony Weir celebrates 28 years with the ministry of KJTH/Ponca City (The House). He has served as Program Director his entire tenure and has worked as an on air talent as well for the ministry of The House FM and House of Praise. Weir recently was named CEO of the ministry.
