Director of Broadcasting for the Alliance Mark Daniels is now also heard in mornings on Family Radio. Mark tells HisAir.Net, “Family Radio is headed in a very positive direction under Tom Evans, and I’m thrilled to be on board.” Mark is also former WFIL/WNTP/Philadelphia, Programming/Marketing Manager and morning host. He exited that position in May this year.


WDJC/Birmingham PD Justin Brown adds more stations to his title.  Justin is now overseeing the programming for Crawford Broadcasting sister stations in Birmingham WXJC and WYDE. 


Salem has launched “Salem Surround”, a nationwide multimedia ad agency with locations in 35 markets across the country. In addition to selling audio and digital advertising on its 116 radio stations and websites, Salem Surround offers a comprehensive suite of digital marketing services to develop and execute audience-based marketing strategies for clients on both the local and national levels.

Update to yesterdays “Z88.3 to cover entire Orlando DMA” story…  WPOZ/Orlando President Jim Hoge says, “The transmitter is already in the building.  It is a new liquid cooled unit purchased from our friends at WMIT (106.9, The Light.).”

WMYZ/Clermont, FL, a satellite of WPOZ, has received a construction permit from the FCC to move to The Villages FL and increase power to 35 kW.  When completed in January, this will put a city grade signal from Leesburg to Ocala FL., increasing the Z88.3 city-grade population to 4.47 million people.  Jim says, “the goal is to cover the entire Orlando DMA (TV market.)  This is one of the final pieces. “
