Cornerstone Community Radio is selling its stations to Illinois-based Good News Radio for $1.1 mil.

Cornerstone Community Radio, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization formed in 1983. Cornerstone’s original founders were:  Dick & Pat Van Zandt, Pastor Art Gregg, Pastor Sal Siano, James Bailey, & Win Rowert.  Stations in the deal include WLUJ/Springfield, WLWJ/Petersburg, WRLJ/White Hall, WJWR/Bloomington, WLLM-AM/Lincoln, WLLM/Carlinville and WHPA/Macomb. In addition, the stations operate translators in Beardstown, Decatur and Jacksonville.


The University of Evansville reports its sale of WUEV/Evansville, IN (91.5)  to WAY FM Media is complete. The sale price was $150,000.  insiderradio.com. UE announced in May 2019 it planned to sell the frequency, and the sale has been approved by the Federal Communications Commission.  The WUEV call letters remain the property of UE.
