Salem Media Group announced today that Brad A. Marshall (at left) has been appointed to the role of General Manager for the Pittsburgh market. Marshall previously led iHeart and Cumulus stations in Youngstown, OH and Ohio Midland Newsgroup and Bridge Media Group in Steubenville, OH.
Marshall said, “Salem Media Group’s superior reputation and focus on delivering powerful content and results makes me excited to join the team.”
Salem Regional VP Chris MacCourtney said, “Brad’s 25-year leadership track record with companies like Cumulus and iHeart has given him great experience in leading teams of media professionals. We believe he’s the right leader to take our Pittsburgh cluster into the future.”
The second annual Gospel Radio Awards will be telecast Friday, November 23 @ 9 PM ET/ 8 PM CT on cable television network The Word Network. The show is hosted by legendary producer/recording artist, Donald Lawrence, and acclaimed singer/actress, Michelle Williams.
The awards were held at The Coronado Performing Arts Center in Rockford, IL earlier this year.
