WKNZ/Milford (88.7 The Bridge) PD/Afternoons Bill Lurwick says, “After 5 of the most fulfilling years of my life I have resigned my position effective the end of 2017, to pursue the next chapter in my journey”. Bill is relocating to the Nashville area, and will be available for any voice talent, imaging, radio production, music director, or consulting needs. In addition, Bill will be working with Benchmark Realty helping families, couples, and individuals achieve their home ownership dreams in the Nashville area. 


The GMA announced more talent for the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Casting Crowns, Erica Campbell, Hezekiah Walker, Hollyn, Jekalyn Carr, Joseph Habedank, Micah Tyler and Tauren Wells are set to perform during the awards show. Hollyn and Tauren Wells will host the Pre-Telecast. PRAZOR and SoundExchange were added as partners for the awards show set for October 17 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville. Trinity 

These new additions round out the talent lineup that includes performers Bri (Briana Babineaux), CeCe Winans, Danny Gokey, Gaither Vocal Band, Hillsong Worship, Matt Redman, MercyMe, Reba McEntire, Ryan Stevenson, Steven Malcolm, Travis Greene and Zach Williams and presenters Anthony Brown, Chris Tomlin, David and Tamela Mann, for KING & Country and Matt Maher.


Early Bird Registration discounts are available for Proclaim 18, the NRB International Christian Media Convention to be held February 27-March 2, 2018, in Nashville. To take advantage of the specials you’ll need to register by November 1, 2017.

More than 200 organizations are expected to exhibit next year. Also at Proclaim 18 are the Super Sessions, featuring the “best of the best” in the world in each industry area – Church Media, Digital Media, Film, International, Radio, and TV.


FEBC recently launched its fifth Ukraine-based radio station in a town where no radio stations previously existed.  FEBC launched a new station in Odessa, Ukraine – the third largest city in the country, with a potential listening audience of 1.2 million people. It also launched a  station in the Eastern Ukraine city of Shastya, right in the heart of the region’s conflict zone. 

FEBC has been actively broadcasting in Ukraine for the past two decades through local stations. In 2012, its first FM station was opened in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.
