The Augusta Chronicle highlighted WAFJ/Augusta for its 25th year on the air. WAFJ Station Manager says, “A main reason WAFJ radio has been on the air for 25 years is the relationship the radio station has with the local Christian community.” Check out the feature HERE.


Congratulations to KBMQ/Monroe (88.7 The Cross) voted “Best of the Delta” for best radio station and best local morning show Jeremiah & Sheryl (Beck & Ford). Citizens in Northeast Louisiana vote for best businesses in the “Best of the Delta” every year. 


Tonight from 10pm-midnight NGEN Radio/Houston will rebrand itself as “NF-GEN” in honor of the emcee who will be performing at Revention Center that evening.

The timing coincides with the end of the NF concert so fans of the rapper can tune in for a non-stop block of programming dedicated to the artist. Members of Houston’s Christian hip hop community (called Rappers of the Round Table) will assist NGEN to help pass out flyers announcing the NF-GEN promotion and to introduce themselves to a potentially-shared fanbase.


HisAir joins the Country radio community in mourning the passing of Country radio legend Bob Kingsley yesterday at the age of 80. Kingsley was a National Radio Hall of Famer and longtime host of the Country Top 40 countdown.
