TWR rededicated its office in Cary, NC today after recovering from the December 2017 fire. Renovations during the 10 months were extensive, including demolishing much of the worst-damaged portion of the building and largely rebuilding it, cleaning and painting most surfaces elsewhere, replacing the heating and cooling controller and most of the furniture, and repairing and upgrading the security- and fire-alarm systems.

The celebration brings to a close the lengthy recovery period and rededicates the media ministry to its mission of serving the Church and spreading the gospel around the world. TWR staff members, alumni, local pastors and invited guests will join board chairman Thomas J. Lowell and CEO Lauren Libby for the event.

“The first dedication was a special one, and this is even more special because we’re seeing the building be completely renovated,” he said. “And under very bad circumstances, the Lord has turned this situation into a wonderful thing.”

President Trump has signed the Music Modernization Act into law. “The Music Modernization Act closes loopholes in our digital royalties laws to ensure that songwriters, artists and producers receive fair payment for licensing of music,” Trump said just before signing the law.

Here’s the complete story from Billboard.
