On Day 3 of the Holiday 2020 Nielsen Audio PPM numbers KSOS/Las Vegas (SOS Radio) improved 4.7-5.4 AQH P6+ placing the station in a tie for #2 overall. SOS Radio PD/mornings Scott Herrold tells HisAir, “Super proud of how hard our team worked to deliver real hope and encouragement through the pandemic. We’ve had consistent growth all year, this was a great way to finish! It’s fun to see Las Vegas celebrating Jesus’ birthday with us.”

Vocalist and songwriter and “The Voice” season 9 winner Jordan Smith has signed a deal with Provident Label Group/Sony Music. Releasing his first single with the label today, titled “Great You Are,” it is also accompanied with a lyric video. Smith has a voice that needs no introduction and with faith that needs no explanation. From the moment the Kentucky native was first introduced to America through “The Voice,” it was evident that his faith was part of his DNA. And now his beliefs take center stage as he steps into the next natural chapter of his career with new music and his new label family.

“I was just so moved by the idea that if I’m silent, the Lord will still find a way to be worshipped,” Jordan Smith exclaims. “He won’t miss out on anything because we don’t give Him the glory or the recognition or the worship He deserves. But I want so badly to be a part of that.”

WCQR/Kingsport’s Tori Franklin says the station is gearing up for it’s Sweetie Pie Staycation Giveaway for Valentine’s Day. Winner and spouse will receive a night’s stay at the Carnegie Hotel, a local luxury hotel, with dinner included at Wellington’s restaurant, and a spa package from Austin Springs Spa, which is located in the hotel.
