KJTH/Oklahoma City (The House FM) provided thousands of meals during its “Year End Fundraiser.”  In a year where help was needed more than ever, The House found a way to make a double difference. The House FM, through its Year End fundraiser, provided 2700 meals for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the Kansas Food Bank. The ministry established the partnership during the fundraiser to make a local impact through both the radio and through providing meals during the struggles of the pandemic.

“We saw many people struggling in 2020 and wanted to make a difference locally even while we were raising much needed funds for the ministry of The House” Tony Weir, CEO of The House, said. “Our listeners gave a record setting amount of donations in December and we were excited to also give them the opportunity to bless families in their communities at the same time.”

The House strives to share hope daily on the air, but wants to impact communities physically as well. The House plans to include another similar outreach for the end of February.
