EMF Getting 2 New Minneapolis Signals

EMF is buying 2 stations in Minneapolis from Northern Lights Broadcasting for an undisclosed price. The stations are Hip Hop KZGO/St. Paul (Class 900 watts 1726 feet at 95.3) and Alternative KQGO/Minneapolis (Class C 19kw 1168 feet at 96.3). The stations are expected to air KLOVE and Air1 beginning in early 2021. 

In Minneapolis EMF currently has KLOVE on 99.9 K260BA Minneapolis fed from iHeartMedia’s KFXN 100.3 HD3 channel and Air1 is heard at 92.1 K221ES Albertville, 92.9 K225ES St. Paul, and 97.7 K249ED Albertville from 97.1 KTCZ-HD2.

Seller Northern Lights Broadcasting is owned by the Pohlad family that also owns the Minnesota Twins.
