Dan Wynia Retiring
After a long and dedicated career, Dan Wynia has announced his retirement from his position as Director of Concerts and Major Events at Northwestern Media. Dan Wynia’s accomplishments are many and his work has impacted lives for Christ over a 43-year span. Prior to his work with concerts, Dan spent 10+ years in Sioux Falls working as a broadcaster at KNWC and in the Twin Cities at KTIS, filling multiple roles at both locations.
Dan’s contributions at Northwestern are significant. In the last 10 years alone, Dan developed over 100 concerts for Northwestern Media including KTIS’ premier outdoor music festival, Joyful Noise. His exemplary service and impeccable reputation in the Christian Music industry will be missed. His last day with Northwestern will be January 3, 2020.
Filling Dan’s shoes will be University of Northwestern’s Sam Cook. Sam steps into this role after having served as Operations and Production Manager at UNW for the past 20 years. Sam can be reached at 651-631-5000 or sncook@unwsp.edu.
I LOVE Dan!
