KKFS Names New Program Director

Mike Wilson has been promoted to Program Director at KKFS/Sacramento (103.9 The Fish). He will oversee programming for the entire Salem Sacramento cluster. 

Mike tells HisAir today, “It’s been a pleasure working for Salem Media Group Sacramento and could not be more excited to get my PD stripes working for a company that is passionate about sharing God’s truth through music and talk. My General Manager Mark Durkin has been an inspiration and I cannot thank him enough for helping to make this dream a reality after 17 years in radio.”

Mike will continue to co host the KKFS morning show “Mike & Matt.” He joined The Fish Sacramento in December as Music Director. Before KKFS, he was on air at Air 1 for 9 years and 10 years at Sacramento country station, KNTY/Sacramento (101.9 The Wolf) as MD/APD. 

Mike adds, “It’s been truly exciting to get start doing radio in Sacramento in 2007 as a promo kid, and now, 17 years later getting to program a station in my hometown that I listened to growing up, even visiting when in youth group.”

Salem Sacramento stations include KTKZ (1380 The Answer) and KFIA (105.7 & 710 The Word).
