news-iconSalem Media Group has appointed Joey Hudson to General Manager for its Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC cluster of radio stations (WGTK-FM; WRTH Earth FM). Hudson comes to the position after many years as an entrepreneur and business owner in Greenville and filling several roles for the Salem Radio Network/Mike Gallagher Show, and the Salem GSP stations. Salem SVP, Allen Power, commented, “Joey has called the Upstate home all his life, and he has been a successful business owner in Greenville for many years. When you add to that track record his roles within the Salem Radio Network and his deep ties to the Upstate community, he has a unique experience base to lead our stations there. His years of political activism will serve us well with our news talk station WGTK in particular.”
