BITS: WMIT/Black Mountain (106.9 the Light) joined with Prison Fellowship during an on-air effort for Angel Tree on Tuesday 12/8. In the ten-hour event listeners gave $102,851, enough to provide for 7,060 children who have a parent(s) in prison. These kids will get a gift and the Gospel. Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Director, Audio Media Services Jim Kirkland says, “All of us at 106.9 the Light are deeply blessed by how our listeners responded with wild generosity. Each person giving showed unconditional love to a family they didn’t know. Our prayer is through their gifts these children in the Prison Fellowship program know they’re not forgotten. They’re loved unconditionally by a mom or dad, and by their Savior, Jesus Christ.
