After 27 years at Christian FM Bart Mazzarella has retired. Bart’s 50 years in broadcasting included over 14 years as host of the morning show on Christian FM. Prior to Christian FM Bart worked at several Hartford, CT stations including WDRC AM & FM as well as network voice at ESPN and a stint on Hartford’s NBC TV 30. In addition to being an air personality, He also worked in Business Development for Christian FM which helped the ministry grow to where it is today. Bart tells HisAir.Net, “I retain clients on Christian FM Networks and will continue as consultant. I loved serving our local Treasure Coast community, establishing long-lasting relationships that will undoubtedly endure, including the close personal relationship I’ve enjoyed with all my co-workers. God is opening doors for other ministry opportunities including Legacy Minded Men with my successor at Christian FM, Joe Pellegrino.”
Christian broadcasting veteran Wayne Pederson has joined FEBC (Far East Broadcasting Company), as liaison to the radio ministry’s USA President and CEO, Ed Cannon. Pederson is the past president of Reach Beyond, and former chairman and president of NRB (National Religious Broadcasters). Pederson will serve part-time as the outward face of FEBC, representing the organization in public and to the media, as Cannon leads its expanding international work. On November 26th it was announced that Wayne would be joining the PraiseLive/Minnesota Team as Global Ambassador.
