WRVL Names New GM

At WRVL/Lynchburg (The Journey) longtime APD/production director Mark Edwards, has been promoted to General Manager. Mark has been with WRVL for over 30 years following graduation from Liberty University. Mark will continue with is production responsibilities.

Mark grew up in a broadcasters home and has been involved in radio/TV his entire life. He worked as an overnight and weekend DJ in college then moved into radio news as a reporter and eventually News Director. From there to Production Director.

Also The Journey also welcomes Mercedes Rich to the air staff. Mercedes will begin doing mid-days in May.
