WBSN/New Orleans (LifeSongs Radio) finished their Spring Sharathon March 25, 2022. Over 1300 people gave to the ministry of LifeSongs through the two week Sharathon. Through listeners’ support the station was able to reach the $250,000 needed to keep the radio station fully-funded for the next six months.
Amazingly in the middle of the WBSN Sharathon the listening area suffered widespread damage from numerous tornadoes – the worst damage happening to the community of Arabi where one person was killed, houses were destroyed, and thousands of residents lost power.
WBSN had boots on the ground DURING Sharathon and set up speakers playing LifeSongs for the army of volunteers helping pick up the devastation.
LifeSongs highlighted the ways God has used the ministry throughout the last 43 years by sharing on-air testimonies. And also, shared how giving to LifeSongs allows for the station’s mission of, “sharing God’s love with Southeast Louisiana through authentic and uplifting radio,” to be accomplished.

The success of the LifeSongs Spring Share-a-thon was a team effort. The ministry would not be fully-funded without the generous gifts and support from listeners, prayer partners, donors, volunteers, a hard working staff and local businesses that kept volunteers and staff fed and happy throughout the process.
