WAWZ Names New PM Drive Personality

WAWZ/New York (Star 99.1) welcomes Dave Moore to the position of Afternoon Drive Personality.  STAR 99.1 PD Rick Hall says, “When you have the opportunity to add a talent like Dave Moore to your team, you don’t think.  You do!  We’re excited to welcome Dave back to STAR 99.1.”

This is a return home for Dave, who worked as an on-air personality at STAR 99.1 from 2006 to 2011.  “I remember leaving STAR 99.1 about 5 or so years ago, driving down the street with the station in my rearview, and thinking to myself that I’d be back.  STAR is home, and there’s no place like home,” said Dave.

Most recently, Dave hosted Afternoons for WBEB/Philadelphia (MoreFM).  Prior stops included the Wall Street Journal Radio Network and Press Communications Radio.

Although Dave has already started on-air, his first day officially as Afternoon Drive Personality was Friday, September 2nd.
