WMIT/Asheville (The Light FM) is welcoming its new Managing Director of Programming and Content, Tim Maranville. Maranville brings with him over 20 years of experience in radio and communications. Maranville replaces Jon Wood who exited in January this year to become the new Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for Montreat College.
Maranville previously served as president/general manager of KGGN/Hemet, CA (102.5 The Vine). His radio experience also includes programming vice president for Westwood One and program director for a number of CBS Radio stations in various markets. He is the co-founder of Ruach.Live a non-profit media marketing organization with a focus on consulting and producing professional media and events for other non-profit and church organizations.
John Owens, general manager of The Light FM said, “We look forward to Doc joining our leadership team at The Light FM as our new Managing Director of Programming and Content. Maranville will join The Light FM team starting August 1.
