The Joy FM/Alabama Expands
The Joy FM/Alabama expanded its reach today with a new station. WTID/Graceville, FL (101.7) is now part of the JOY FM radio outreach. WTID is a 6kw Class A at 479 Ft. RTN announced it was purchasing WTID from GFR, Inc for 250K in Oct 2021.
WTID was the 4th station to be purchased by RTN in Florida in 2021, it will simulcast WIZB/Dothan as part of The Joy FM/Alabama. The contour has good coverage in south Dothan which will complement the WIZB signal which is on a stick north of Dothan.
The JOY FM/Alabama GM Mark Giles says, “God has blessed us with this new outreach tool, blanketing our friends & neighbors to the South, East and West in areas we’ve never been able to reach before. 101.7 covers Graceville, Marianna, Chipley, Bonifay, Hartford, Geneva, Enterprise, Ponce de Leon, Alford, Wausau, Vernon, Grand Ridge, and beyond.
