Staff Changes At Blue Ridge Broadcasting
Blue Ridge Broadcasting announces that WMIT/Black Mountain announces it has changed its branding from “106.9 the Light” to “The Light” across all BRB frequencies.
Also, Carol Davis has moved from Program Director into the newly created position of Creative Director to lead the ministry’s efforts of developing unique podcasts, on-air and online features, and much more.
As a result, Jon Wood has been named The Light’s new Program Director. Jon has served with the ministry for the past 10 years in various roles including his most recent position of Assistant Program Director.
In addition, Keith Pittman’s role with the ministry has expanded from Content Manager to Technical and Content Manager. He’ll serve as a key part of the technical broadcast operations of the ministry.
With Amanda Woods’ exit, Brian Fisher joins The Light team as the new Promotions Manager. He comes to BRB from Curtis Media Group’s High Country Radio in Boone, N.C. where he was serving as the Operations Manager for the cluster.
After Mary Moore’s retirement and Jennifer Lassiter’s exit from our admin team, Lori Barr, former Operations Manager of To Every Nation Inc. DBA VivaKids, joins The Light as Data and Mail Processing Coordinator.
Lastly, April Stephens, former on-site rep for AccuForce, joins The Light as Automated Donations and Mail Processor.
