Radio By Grace Buys New Station

Grace Community Church of Amarillo, owners of KRBG/Umbarger, TX (Radio By Grace) closed on the acquisition of KBZD/Amarillo (99.7) on Monday, July 10th.  KBXD was previously mainstream Hot AC “Fun 99.7” .

The current non-comm format is being simulcast on the new station, KBZD 99.7 FM, until upgrades can be implemented and “a new…” Radio By Grace” will make its debut sometime in the fall.

Pictured is the tower when the simulcast began, at 11am on July 10th, the 1st song aired was “God Of This City” –  “Greater things are yet to come”.
