PrayerWorks Relaunches As Amen: The Prayer App℠
With today’s latest technologies, Amen: The Prayer App was built from the ground up to deliver a new and improved platform for prayer. Now, whether an affiliate has a few users or a few million users, Amen: The Prayer App has the infrastructure to scale.
“As of January 2017, we have new features and controls we’re turning over to affiliates and users. We’ve upgraded the system to more easily customize the interface from the admin tool, to increased controls to monitor your community and more. As we get into 2017, the new feature list will only continue to grow,” says Morgan Wood, founder of PrayerWorks and Amen: The Prayer App.
Wood created PrayerWorks while at Northwestern Media, and is now launching Amen: The Prayer App, under the umbrella of MW Media LLC. The Amen team includes brand and digital strategy expert, Janessa Meyer, who led the team that developed the original PrayerWorks iOS app, and world-class developers Nathan Dunlap and Than Nap, with over 40 years combined user-interface design and back-end development between them.
“What’s most exciting about the new platform is the opportunity to help deliver hope and encouragement to anyone, anywhere, at any time,” says Wood. “In a world where the phrase ‘I’ll pray for you’ has often become a platitude, Amen makes prayer timely and tangible to people who need it.”
The success of the tool has already been proven with over 7 million prayers requested and prayed on the platform. Now, that number will only continue to grow with the new infrastructure and engagement support provided to affiliates.
