Pillar of Fire Promotes Art Garza
WAKW/Cincinnati (Star 93.3) GM Art Garza has been promoted to the position of Pillar Ministries (Pillar of Fire) Director of Broadcasting.
Art told HisAir, “I’m humbled and honored for the opportunity to serve this ministry in this capacity. Pillar Ministries continues to spread the Gospel through Churches, Education, Media and Missions. Prayers appreciated for everyone involved during this transition. I guess it’s time for me to try a pork roll, even if I’m mostly vegan.”
Art will be oversee Pillar Ministries’ broadcast/media operations including WAWZ/New York (STAR 99.1), KPOF/Denver (AM 910) and WAKW. Art will relocate to the Pillar Ministry headquarters in New Jersey. Garza joined WAKW in 2006 and previously Art was with KSGN/Riverside, KLTX/Los Angeles, and KLOVE.
At the same time WAWZ GM Scott Taylor exits his position after 25 years of service. The Pillar Ministries Board of Trustees is grateful for Scott’s service to the station and wish him the very best in the future.
