Moody Radio At South Africa Conference
Moody Radio took part in a media convention sponsored by AbR Media in South Africa recently, to help radio station leaders get up to speed on where radio fits into the new media landscape, which is part of the Global Partners Project launched in 2010, by Moody Radio creating international relationships with media ministries and training broadcasters to advance the gospel through radio.
AbR Media is a network of Christian media organizations across sub-Saharan Africa. They are committed to “seeing that every man, woman and child in Africa is provided the opportunity to turn on a radio and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way and language they can understand, so they can become responsible members of His Church.” The next Global Partners Training conference will take place Nov. 10–13, 2015, in Nairobi, Kenya. Twenty-one facilitators, including 13 Moody staff, alumni and students, will lead sessions on radio production, on-air work, digital media, video and leadership.
