National Quartet Convention 2022

National Quartet Convention (NQC) 2022 took place at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Southern Gospel artist performances include Tim Lovelace, Three Bridges, Matt Linton, Hoppers, Jim & Melissa Brady, Greater Vision, Tribute Quartet, Mark Trammell Quartet, Whisnants and Kingdom Heirs. #NQC2022 continues through Saturday, October 1, 2022 and features nightly concerts from award-winning talent, musical legends, and rising young artists.

NQC 2022 Highlights include:

  • SGMA Hall of Fame Ribbon Cutting (Biblical Times Theatre)
  • SGMA Hall of Fame Induction
  • Inspirations Reunion
  • Song of a Lifetime hosted by Phil Cross along with First Baptist Atlanta Choir and Orchestra
  • Singing Fan Awards

NQC – the National Quartet Convention – was founded in 1957 by gospel music legend and former backup vocalist for Elvis Presley, J.D. Sumner, who co-produced the event with James Blackwood. The annual convention was moved in later years to Nashville, TN, and then to Louisville, KY, where it was held for 20 years. NQC is currently held at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.
