Marc Tischart Has Passed
Longtime Christian Radio broadcaster Marc Tischart has passed away after a battle with cancer.
In Marc’s career he was with stations including WMSJ/Freeport, ME… WHCF/Bangor, ME… and WRXT/Lynchburg (Spirit FM). Most recently he operated a VoiceOver company called “Your Voice Now”
Marc passed away June 7, 2023 at home in Maine surrounded by family. He was 64.
He studied broadcast journalism at Oregon State University and served in ministry and Christian radio for 25 years.
Marc is survived by his stepmother, Joann Hart; Marc’s wife of 20 years Sherry, two daughters, Katrina and Sarah and his stepchildren Brent and Jill; brother Barry and sister Stacey; grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family, church family and friends who will miss him dearly.
