Lawhon Comes Off The Air

WRBS/Baltimore (95.1 Shine FM) PD John Lawhon announces he is coming of the air to focus on his role as Brighter Media Group’s Director of Programming and Content.

Lawhon has been on air in middays at WRBS for 11 years.  “For the past 11 years, I’ve known the honor and great responsibility to share my heart with people through a microphone,” says Lawhon. “I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. But I’m looking forward to focusing 100% on directing our programming and content.”

Lawhon will continue to be heard on-air occasionally. John joined SHINE-FM in 2009 as the evening producer and then became the evening host. In 2012 he moved to middays then in 2015 was hired as APD/MD and in 2018 promoted to Program Director.
